Labourer - Water and Sewer

Permanent Full Time – 38 hours per week
$41,796 - $46,185 (Plus 9% Superannuation)

Queanbeyan City is growing at a rapid rate with new development fronts generating significant installation, operational and maintenance works for Councils Water and Sewer Department.

Due to this work load Council provides a great opportunity for a new labourer. The labourer will work with the Water and Sewer Department to provide efficient and effective water and sewer installation and maintenance to the reticulation network and Councils own buildings and facilities.

Queanbeyan City Council provides excellent working conditions including:

  • 38 hour week 9 day fortnight – ‘a long weekend every second week’;

The successful candidate for this permanent position must possess a proven track record in a related field, up to year 10 secondary education and a current NSW driver’s license (or equivalent).  The salary will be dependent on the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
