Queanbeyan Art Award

This non-acquisitive award attracts Queanbeyan’s finest artists and crafts people to compete for the coveted award. The aim of the Art Award is to enhance recognition of, and offer a unique award to, Queanbeyan region artists and craftspeople: particularly from emerging artists to mid-career artists. The award will highlight, expose and promote the myriad of talented visual artists residing in the Queanbeyan Local Government area.

A high profile judge is selected each year to make the difficult decision of who will be walk away with the overall non-acquisitive award of $1000 and the Highly Commended Award of $250. The community and visitors also get their say when they are invited to vote for the Peoples Choice Award of $250.
