Mayoral Community Service Award

Council developed the Mayoral Community Service Awards in 2010 to recognise people who help to make Queanbeyan such a great place to live. The awards are presented during Senior's Week.

Hope and Ken Marland were the recipients of the 2010 award in recognition of the outstanding service they have provided to the Queanbeyan community over many years.  In 2011 the Mayoral Community Service Award was presented to Edie Jones who has been an integral member of the Queanbeyan community for many years and involved in many of the city's community organisations.
