Awards given out by Council

Queanbeyan City Council presents a number of different awards each year.

These awards include the annual Australia Day awards which recognise the outstanding contributions of citizens to the Queanbeyan community and the Heritage Awards which recognise the community's efforts in contributing to the heritage value of our city including maintaining and restoring the city's older buildings.

A new addition to Council's awards was the Mayoral Community Service Award which was first presented during the 2010 Senior's Week.
