Fresh looking website for Queanbeyan City Council

Queanbeyan City Council has launched its revamped website, providing customers with an easy to use interface with full mobile device responsiveness.

The launch of the new-look website coincides with the unveiling of the new Qactive website which has brought the Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre, Queanbeyan Indoor Sports Centre and Queanbeyan’s parks and sportsfields together under one umbrella.

“The new-look Queanbeyan City Council site and the brand new Qactive websites are great additions to Council’s online communications network and will provide customers with a fresh interface that is easy to navigate,” Queanbeyan Mayor, Cr Tim Overall.

“The number of customers using our website has increased dramatically over the past few years, with more than 500,000 page visits recorded on Council’s site in 2014-15. It was also important to ensure that our website was responsive to tablet and smart phones, with 39% of users accessing the site from these devices.

“Our recent community satisfaction survey showed that the website was the second most popular way to receive information from Council and we expect that to grow over the coming years.

“The new-look website also includes an events calendar, expandable content and very accessible quick links on the front page.”

Residents can access Council’s new-look website by using the same web address – www.qcc.nsw.gov.au while the Qactive site is accessible via http://q-one.qcc.nsw.gov.au.
