Artists
Queanbeyan is home to a number of professional artists, and many artists living in the local region have studio or gallery spaces in the city.
In late October each year local studios open their doors to the public for the Arts Trail and Open Studios weekend. It is a wonderful opportunity to discover the myriad of talented artists and crafts people who call Queanbeyan home. Participants are able to visit local galleries and studios, watch live demonstrations, talk to artists about their processes and techniques, and, of course be tempted to buy some treasures along the way! The Arts Trail bus tour is a delightful way to be chauffeured around the open studios and galleries, enjoying lunch and afternoon tea and possibly a glass of bubbly to end the day!
Coming soon, on this page you will find a virtual Arts Trail with artists' statements, photos and examples of their work.
