The Axis Youth Centre is located in Queanbeyan Park.
The Axis Youth Centre is a safe and supervised, drug and alcohol free recreational space for young people aged 12-25. The Axis Youth Centre is the city's hub of information, entertainment, advice, assistance and referral for all young people in Queanbeyan and surrounds. Our friendly, approachable and non-judgemental staff are available for advice on any issue between 10am and close of drop-in. They are always keen to chat about anything that may be troubling you. We would like to meet any and every youth from Queanbeyan and surrounds. If you have not been to the centre before, please drop by and check it out. There will be a program, activity or event for you! You will always find a friendly face and a fun and relaxed environment here.
The Axis Youth Centre provides the following activities and services free to young people

Information and referrals to a range of services.

Advocacy and support on a range of issues confronting today's youth.

Someone young people can talk to about any problem, no matter how big or small.

Dedicated home work room with print facilities with internet.

Wii console and games.

Pool tables, soccer table and table tennis and half-sized basketball court.

DJ equipment, stage and PA, iMac, mics, keyboard etc. for recording (recording only on some days) and musical instruments.

Kitchen facilities (cooking, tea, coffee and milo) and cold drinks and snacks for sale.

Youth Council - where young people can share their ideas and be actively involved in planning, organising and delivering youth activities and programs.
