Waste Minimisation Centre
Queanbeyan Council’s Waste Minimisation Centre (WAMI) is at
5 Lorn Road, Queanbeyan. Residents can drop off the following items for free:

Garden prunings and clippings which are too much/ too large to fit into the green waste bin

Recyclable plastic, glass and metal containers

Paper and cardboard
-
Used motor oil (domestic quantities up to 20 litres)
Residents may also purchase shredded green waste suitable for use as garden mulch from this facility.
