  • A home delivery service is available to persons unable to visit the library for medical reasons.

Services for the Visually/Hearing Impaired

  • The library holds a collection of large print books and audio books for those who have difficulty reading standard print. We have a range of fiction and non-fiction titles.
  • The internet terminals in the library have software installed which enables text to be displayed in large print.
  • For those with hearing difficulty the library has books on learning sign language.

Language and Literacy Resources

  • The library has a small collection of literacy material suitable for adults developing literacy skills and those learning English as a second language. The collection includes graded English texts and tape and book kits. We also have some books, CD's and DVD's on learning English in the general collection.
  • We have a collection of books and audio material in the non-fiction section of the library for learning languages other than English.
  • For migrants and refugees further help is available from the Multilingual Centre
