Residential Respite Care
Residential Respite is short-term accommodation in an accredited Aged Care Facility. It is designed to give the carer a break from their caring role, as well as provide supportive short term accommodation for frail/older people.
Before entry into an Aged Care Facility a person needs to be assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). The assessment by the ACAT determines the level of care. There are two levels of Residential Aged Care
-
