The Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre is situated in Moore Park covering 1.3 hectares of land within a triangular plot bounded by Crawford, Campbell and Antill Streets.

6 lane 25 Meter Indoor Heated Pool
The 25 Meter pool is used all year round by a number of user groups including learn to swim, swim club, aqua aerobics, Aussie masters and water polo. When possible we aim to have as many public lanes available as we can.

8 lane 50 Meter Outdoor Heated Pool
The 50 meter outdoor pool is one of the last remaining outdoor 50 meter 8 lane pool in the area. The out pool offers a shade sail covered lush green spectator bank along with plenty of shaded areas for the whole family to enjoy. The 50 meter pool is also used by many user groups including swim club, water polo Aussie masters and local and surrounding schools for their annual school swimming carnival. When possible we aim to have as many public lanes available as we can.

Shaded Toddlers Heated Pool
The shaded toddlers pool is fantastic for our younger patrons to enjoy the aquatic centre, it introduces them to shallow water under the shade of a large shade sail allowing children to play in the cool away from the summer heat.

At various times the pool can be used for swimming carnivals by outside organisations. This can restrict the areas available for public use. Contact the Centre to find out if there are activities which may limit the use of the facility.

NSW Swimming Regional Country Carnival
The Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre will play host to the NSW Swimming Regional Country Carnival. With over 1700 race entries and competitors ranging from 9 to 15 years of age it will make for a great weekend. More event information bout the event can be found from The Queanbeyan Leagues Swim Club or Swimming New South Wales.

The 50m Outdoor pool will be closed for public swimming during these time however the indoor and toddler facilities will remain open for public use
Annual School Swimming Carnivals
During the months of February and March a number or Local and Canberra schools hold their annual school swimming carnivals at the Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre during these times the 50m Outdoor Pool is closed for public use.
