Aged and Disability Service
Queanbeyan City Council's Aged and Disability Service provides a range of support programs to people who have a disability, people who are frail aged and their carers in the Queanbeyan community and surrounding areas. We provide community transport, social support, respite and case management. Our vision is to empower people to remain independent in our community by collectively providing consistent and sustainable support responsive to individual needs.
Eligibility Criteria - The Home and Community Care (HACC) Guidelines established by the State Government provide the eligibility criteria for HACC services.

Aged and Disability Services is a HACC Program, funded by the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care and the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
In summary, the following people are eligible for HACC services:Services are provided on the basis of eligibility as well as assessed and prioritised need. This means that although you may fall into one of the above categories and meet the eligibility criteria, in some instances you may not automatically receive services.
