Australia Day Awards
Each year on Australia day in January, Council announces the Citizen, Young Citizen, Event and Community group of the year
Clearwater Sculpture Prize
2015 marks the second year for the Clearwater Sculpture Prize. The event is held on the foreshore of the Queanbeyan River over three days during the River Festival in mid October
Grants and General donations scheme
Council has in place a Council Assistance Program which is split into three separate divisions which offer community, cultural and sporting organisations the opportunity to apply for a donation
Heritage Awards
The heritage awards recognise restoration of both commercial and residential heritage buildings in the Queanbeyan local government area.
Local Heritage Fund
The Local Heritage fund assists owners with the cost of maintaining buildings that are considered to have heritage significance to the community
Queanbeyan City Regional Art Awards
Annually, Council extends an invitation to all artists and craftspeople who reside in the Queanbeyan, Palerang, Cooma Monaro or Yass Valley Local Government areas to enter the awards
